This was a terrific discussion !! We desperately miss Lawyer Oyer in government along with all the rest of the dedicated public employees who made our government actually work as promised.
My ardent wish is that 1) I make it to 2028, because 2) I will be looking forward to see just how quickly these dedicated people, plus the young people working to be part of the federal government, can rebuild, remediate, repair, and regain the global trust that Heritage Foundation, using that oaken puppet and his toadies, destroyed.
Once there was a time that we could live our lives without paying constant attention to the government. I want that back before I bid farewell.
I don’t think I have the capacity to hear the horror stories without hearing some slamming solutions. Let’s start planning at their level for the love of God.
If u break the oath to the constitution they should be walked out. Americans are being asked to accept blatant corruption at the highest level and wait till the midterms because the GOP can’t find a spine to walk out the criminals
If Biden hadn’t pardoned his family, they would be under investigation and probably in jail right now for no reason. This is it dangerous time to be acting like Donald Trump wouldn’t have done this anyway and isn’t completely Lawless.

We all understood that, at that time, when Joe Biden gave pardons to his family members, it was to protect them in case Donald Trump or someone equally bad became POTUS. They have worked out OK apparently.
He did not give one to Michael Cohen because, imho, he knew that Michael would demand discovery from Trump and that Trump would not tolerate that along with the political and public humiliation. Cohen is a street fighter and Trump knows Trump cannot beat Cohen.
If Trump thought he could, he'd have already tried it.
