Unfortunately kids can't help or control what their parents do or their own health. How many democratic cities have to be invaded before it is realized that a plan must be put in place to combat Adolf Trump? There may be three or four more cities invaded, and then what? Will that be enough to put a fire under the rumps of the democratic governors?
Much discussion about the horrors of Adolf Trump, we know he and his minions are taking over our country and our way of life by a process of invasion and destruction of the possibility of state resistance. It is constantly being discussed in the media, but no one mentions a plan to stop this corruption of our lifestyle. Will someone start discussing what can be done to stop the erosion of our democracy? Knowing Trump's personality disorder, he will be crushed if we refer to him as Adolf Trump.
Governor Pritzker of Illinois said to Aldorf Trump, "Do not come to our state." His only defense is peaceful, non-violent resistance. He will likely take Adolf Trump to court, and hopefully, the court will side with his actions. Our democracy will be left up to the courts to decide.
That's it! That's all he has to defend against this unscrupulous dictator: the courts, knowing that the Supreme Court is controlled by Adolf.
As Pritzker states, what is happening here will happen in every Democratic State in our country. President Aldorf believes he can call up the National Guard in any state, as he did in California and Washington, D.C., and he has fabricated a justification for doing this. We can expect additional invasions in democratic cities, especially those with black mayors.
The much-discussed National Guard is the only term that is focused on; yet, there are other terms, such as "Home Guard", "State Defense Forces", or "State Militia", that are never mentioned. Many states have an SDF (State Defense Force) that is not federally supported or financed, and therefore cannot be controlled by the president. Numerous states (20 states) have SDFs, and some have Home Guards or Reserve Militia. As a result of the modified National Defense Act of 1916, states were authorized to maintain military forces in addition to the National Guard. In 2022, Governor DeSantis restored the Florida State Guard and expanded its size and scope of duties.
Why have the democratic governors not united in their defense against Adolf? In truth, as separate governors, they are defenseless. They are talking gibberish and nonsense, and no thought is given to a strategic plan against our invasion. A strategic attack plan, not a defensive plan, waiting to be attacked, and hoping the courts will hopefully take action.
Plans of action:
First, convene a meeting of Democratic Governors where they will announce the formation of a coalition of Democratic governors.
Second, increase or form their State Defense Force and take steps to eliminate or dismantle their National Guard units.
Third, their states stop paying federal taxes, or the governors provide a plan for the states to stop paying federal taxes.
These plans will put an end to Adolf's march to dictatorship and the plans of his billionaire supporter.

I am a Retired Nurse Practitioner, and have no words to express my fear for all Americans. Not to mention the absurdity. Despite being a nursing major with few electives I too a an Existential Literature and film class.
I became a nurse because I loved getting to know people and learning the medical side of their problems. My mom had a brain tumor in the 70's. At the time there was nothing they could do to treat it but she had a private duty nurse who made each day a bit better. That is why I became a nurse. Even at the age of 11 I figured that out and made that choice to be a nurse and not a doctor, Everyone in my mom's family wanted us all to be doctors.
I said all that because it is very difficult for me comprehend the motives of such liars and bullies.
I now live in red red Hilton Head SC. I had a daily writing and occasional calling campaign. My daughter and I both got diagnosed with the same type of benign brain tumor in different locations within 2 weeks of each other. So my life is chaos my sone lost his government security consulting job at 38. So listening to you and Rick is cathartic for me. You express my dismay and disgust. My worry for kids and grand kids. Thank you again. You make all this a more bearable.
I am so sorry to hear what you and your daughter are going through, and I hope your health won't be impacted, or I hope your tumors can be removed even if they are benign. I also hope your son finds another job. It is beyond horrible that there are now added difficulties that this Trump administration is imposing on US citizens to make our lives even more challenging.
