Another side effect of this is reinforcing the idea that women should be home taking care of sick children as they build up their immune systems, that is the "trad wife" model. I'm 71 and watched my mother who always worked scramble to find someone to watch us as my sister and I went though measles, mumps, rubella - everything but polio and smallpox, which has been irradiated. I've seen my granddaughters' day care close for hand, foot and mouth disease outbreaks, leaving everyone to figure out who can take time off.
While Kennedy thinks he's building stronger immune systems, he's actually devastating day care options which are already financially precarious, as they'll be more communicable disease outbreaks, make it harder for people to be productive workers, especially women, which will create even more pronounced worker shortages than we already have and in general, push the idea that women should have more babies and stay home to watch them.
Impeachment should be the consequence for anyone who blatantly lied during a hearing for cabinet appointment to get votes. Clearly, RFK’s actions prove he did , at the potential cost of thousands of lives.
RFKwack should be arrested for depraved indifference to human life. Cassidy should have his medical license revoked. Both will be seen as promoting a death cult agenda. trump and republicans do not give one damn about how any people are harmed and di from their decisions. My MD is an hour drive away. I was too sick to get diagnosed and too sick to deal with hours at the er for testing and drain the tiny amount of strength. My fur baby kept vigilance and I will live. Possible exposure at a chicken sandwich place. I’m not sure. Be careful and stay calm.
