The Democratic Party must stop functioning solely as a political party and instead step into its moment in history: to lead a pro-democracy movement capable of confronting this authoritarian threat.
Cheeto: The Putin Ass Kisser, Dictator, Traitor, and National Security Risk
The Christian Nationalist Movement/Nazi/GOP told Americans what direction they wanted to take the country in 2024 in part through the widely publicized Project 2025 As Vance’s buddy Curtis Yarvin has said, “the country should get over its dictatorphobia”, Cheeto’s actions actually have gone well past the Cheeto moniker of simply dictator
With Cheeto’s obvious Putin ass kissing in Alaska the most recent insider reports from Lev Parnas indicate that it’s going to get a lot worse and establish Cheeto as a full blown traitor to the country….a 21st century Benedict Arnold Mainstream media(MSM) will never contextualize this but now Cheeto is not only ready to invite a international criminal to the States to watch to the FIFA World Cup but also willing to lift sanctions on Cheeto’s motherland Russia so it will make it easier to fight Ukraine
These kinds of deplorable, disgusting, and traitorous actions need to be called out for what they truly are Why aren’t we willing to call Cheeto who he is?? Cheeto’s a traitor to the country and the office POTUS itself has become a national security risk
It has been 218 days since trump was inaugurated. I have written an email to my two senators and my House rep and Chuck and Hakeem (all Democrats) virtually every single day since. I get automated acknowledgements from two and the occasional policy letter from a third, crickets from Chuck and Hakeem. But I seriously doubt any of them actually read what I send, let alone act on my comments. I think the Democrats have put all of their eggs in the 2026 midterm basket and they assume that their Democratic constituents will vote for them. And of course we will because what alternative do we have. But first we have to survive the next 15 months and hope we can still vote in November 2026 and the Democrats don't seem to feel any urgency. Tell me how to get through to them because my daily emails seem to fall on deaf ears.
Also, y’all lincoln media folks get your asses on signal. How can we have a secure chat? It ain’t happening on telegram and discord is just weird imnsho
Joe says, "What is required now is not just electoral strategy or campaign slogans." But, Democrats don't even have a slogan or a strategy we can name, and what great movement ever succeeded without some sort of rallying cry? Is it clear what they are defending with democracy? I think not. I fear they see it as the old status quo that they thought Trump would topple. Trippi is missing the mark, the source of the rage and the loss of the next generation that thought a dictator might be better.
The source of the rage is the loss of the American Dream. For this generation, it appears dead for all but the few born into wealth and power. Democrats focus on the benefit cuts Republican are making, but what most people want is a at leas a job and best a business venture that gives them a step up to a better life, not mere survival on government benefits. That hopelessness leads to the rise in suicides that sometimes take others with them in school shootings. I therefore conclude that the theme of the Democrats should be the restoration of the American Dream. Put as a slogan, I suggest RESTORE OUR AMERICAN DREAM. "Our" because the morbidly rich elites stole it from the rest of us. That change from "the" to "our" also makes for a better acronym. Whether you believe the solution is a more democratic capitalism or socialism, the slogan works for you.
While the social safety net is a must to protect, it should be second to restoring the American Dream. The secret sauce of the Constitution is the division of power. The laissez faire capitalism of the Republicans has allowed capitalism to degenerate into cartels and monopolies, and those concentrations of power now overpower democracy. Antitrust enforcement is the key to reversing this anti-democratic trend. Capitalism does not work without a free market, and a free market is free of fraud and collusion, not free of policing.
It's time to explode the myth that corporations have no duty other than to their shareholders. A corporate charter is a license to exploit the economy of the people granting that charter through their government. Think of corporate income tax as the commission based franchise fee we expect in payment for the legal privileges of incorporation. Those privileges do not include any right to steal or poison the natural resources of the country.
The rationalization for corporate consolidation is economy of scale. Corporations are feral predators that when tamed are productive beasts of burden, but they must not be allowed to grow to large to contain. Because there is a limit to how much wealth any one person or CEO can manage productively, the tax tables must be restored to a graduation that prevents excess that go toward political mischief when they can't find productive uses.
I could go on, but what's the point of the pro-democracy movement? What is that democracy going to do for those fighting for it? Republicans state their goals in simple short declarative sentences like, "no new taxes" and "small government." Democrats talk and talk until the audience goes to sleep. Make the point first, and then explain. Our goal is to "restore our American dream." To do that, we must "restore democracy." To restore democracy, we must "break up the monopolistic power that captured our government."

Schumer and Jeffries should be replaced as leaders. They are not leaders at all. I want to see a leader who is out on the streets fighting for our country and for the American people. Stop playing nice.
Agree! Schumer, especially is as spineless, as Congressional Republicans. Congressional Democrats, wake up! Take a page from Newsom, Bernie, AOC, Crockett, Murphy’s book and get out there and fight! Your constituents are protesting, but you don’t seem to get that GOOD leaders inspire and motivate!
Yes, Joe Trippi is exactly right with this analysis. There are a few Democratic governors (Newsom, Pritzker) speaking out and standing up to Trump, but where are the leaders in Washington calling for this pro-Democracy movement? Schumer and Jefferies are duds when it comes to this. Mainly, the people I see right now standing up to the convicted felon and former TV game show host are ordinary Americans who have neither great wealth or great power. Those of us who continue to show up at demonstrations or town halls. But how long can this group continue to serve as the bulwark against Trump's authoritarianism without strong leadership?
It is time to walk hand in hand. It is time to shot. There is still silence in some quarters, but the whispers are getting louder. Thanks once again for the rallying cry. Take care. Peace be with you.

It’s time for a national convention to form a coalition party of Democrats and of
Republicans who believe in the Republican Party of Lincoln.
Great idea
