It’s official: the MAGA GOP, the party that wraps itself in the flag, thumps its chest about liberty, and rants endlessly about the evils of communism (all while Donald “I control the means of production” Trump looks more like a commie caudillo by the minute) has just decided to deport over over 300,000 people legally in the United States straight into the arms of tow of the world’s most repressive socialist regimes.
Cubans and Venezuelans, many of whom fled tyranny, jail, torture, and starvation, are now facing the MAGA express ride back to the hellscapes they risked everything to escape.
The Trump Administration, in its latest act of sadistic political theater disguised as immigration policy, has moved to revoke Temporary Protected Status (TPS) from hundreds of thousands of people who were told — many in the first Trump term — by the U.S. government that they could live and work here after fleeing the oppression, chaos, and brutal hardships of their homelands.
These aren't just anonymous migrants in a spreadsheet. They're families, workers, neighbors, taxpayers. And now, thanks to a toxic cocktail of cruelty, hypocrisy, and red-hat lunacy, they’re being handed deportation notices stamped with the Stephen Miller seal of approval.
And before you ask: Yes, the Supreme Court just gave the Trump regime its blessing. Five robes, black as their consciences, looked at this morally grotesque policy and shrugged. Because apparently "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" stops at TPS status, especially when you're brown, poor, and from a country whose dictator doesn’t golf at Mar-a-Lago.
Let’s break this down, shall we?
MAGA Hates Communism, but Loves Deporting People Back into It
You’d think that a movement that jerks itself to sleep every night fantasizing about fighting the imaginary commie hordes would have a little more compassion for the people who actually had to live under those regimes. But nope.
