Fantastic turnout in Raleigh NC. Bigger than June. People of all ages, races, ethnicities. Kind, caring people who helped each other. Best inflatable (among many) was the huge penis which walked down the median with a sign saying No Dicktators. We all felt, and ARE, joyful, strong, & committed to this fight to save our beloved democracy!
It was jam packed - a celebration of all we love about our nation, and all we hope for this nation to become. Our rally was full of costumes and dancing, and the optimism that we can turn the tide if we keep pushing back. The protests seem to rattle this regime more than anything. I hope they will continue. I resonated with the sign that read, “We need to do this every day.”
Trumps response was disgusting especiially an ai image over NY (haven't seen it yet)... typical paranoid.... all on the 6 supremes... proud of your work?
It was a fun day. In the village where our event was held, the Word was 900+. Later the word was 1000. And there were lots of younger people. Shout out to those who came with help in their wheelchairs. They had wonderful smiles. Today, tired but happy. Joy and Peace~ Take care.
As, for an American 🇺🇸 I was honored and proud to see everyone, participating in No kings 2 March! Expressing the opinions, about this current Administration! This was definitely a beautiful post! Saw no name Wilson expressing his views in a most positive way! It’s my hope on the 250 anniversary, when they will unveil a statue of the current President! That America has no kings 3! It is my opinion that unveiling a statue of him is totally inappropriate! America will or should celebrate its 250 year in a positive constructive way! Thank you everyone at Lincoln Square! ( PS) my friend Ron bent over, a kitty at his home, and petted a cat! It left a big smile on my face! My older sister and I spoke they participated in No kings ( 2) ! My cousin in Vancouver Washington! Has a, new boyfriend in her life! This was good day for America and many citizens of America!
Pittsburgh deserves credit for being true blue Patriots of Liberty. Remember. We started union labor over 100 years ago with demonstrations where the hired service authorities drew our blood to try to stop us. We were there again yesterday by the thousands, again.
This country has so benefitted from Americans who work hard, sacrifice, and even shed blood for higher principles. Considering how many others lie, cheat, steal, and demagogue their way through life, this patriotism and civic pride is the only thing that keeps America from turning into a miserable capitalistic cesspool.
Yes it was wonderful and so proud that it was peaceful, semi-organized and in my case CROWDED. Also glad to see people did not react when provoked--turning your back was an excellent approach. Pleased that the local police stepped in when there was danger (aka women in SC removed when brandishing a gun at the protestors). So now we get to see what is the latest "why not" reason from Speaker Johnson.
Ya it was somethin' else!!

It was beautiful, of course, because we are beautiful.
