I have an interesting suggestion. Instead of resistance demonstrators yelling ICE GO HOME, why not begin reciting their oath of allegiance to the US Constitution and the citizens of the US instead. Then Follow those recitations with the Declaration of Independence, followed by the Preamble to the US Constitution, then the Bill of Rights. And repeat these document recitations over and over again -- let the trump2 authoritarian regime KNOW THAT US CITIZENS KNOW THE LEGAL DOCUMENTS WHICH HAVE MADE THE US a great nation.

Renee Nicole Good is a martyr for exercising a citizen rights and suffering an extrajudicial execution by a tyrant's death squads. Yet no one seemingly speaks of her in these terms as they should. Sad that courage and consequential loss of life seem to be totally ignored.
The apparent eunuchs in congress along with the tyrant's syncopates still do nothing to uphold the Constitution, totally abrogating their responsibility as our (at least we thought "our" ) elected officials to protect our interests. Every member of congress has Renee Good's blood on their hands if they do noting in short order. If congress fails us and it comes to citizens action to protect themselves against government violence, then congress will have the blood of ever citizen killed on their hands. And Renee will only be the first of many martyrs. If congress, regardless of political affiliation, will not act out of a sense of common decency to fix this travesty, then God help us. The dictatorship is already upon us.

There's zero question Drumpf and Miller are attacking Minneapolis for exactly that reason: they want people to break and lose it. They're practically foaming at the mouth. Don't give it to them. But don't hide.

Agreed! But they have to do it in a way that makes it clear to the entire country -- MAGAts included -- that this is a PEACEFUL protest. What they want is a provocative image that sparks the Insurrection Act. A model for cities all over the US before the midterms, and an escalation of a fascist takeover. So...turn out in huge numbers -- then at protest sites, sit on the ground (or deck chairs) and hold protest signs. That's a video that can't be seen as rabid attacks on "legitimate authorities cracking down on criminals." Strategy counts. Remember the civil rights sit-ins?
