However, I need to alert you that I believe someone is impersonating you through substack. I was contacted in a very weird manner by someone presenting themselves as Sam Osterhout. This was very confusing to me. I am not sure what to think, but wanted to at least try to say something to you. Best, Nancy
I grew up in Detroit in the 1950s. Labor unions were at the forefront of virtually everything. We never spoke about oligarchs back then; not even sure I knew the word. Labor unions were and still are the ultimate expression of WE THE PEOPLE. But the country has forgotten this during its love affair with authoritarianism. After all, with the general dumbing down, it sure is easier to let someone else do the thinking...isn't it?
