When at the Howard Stern show Trump (on the phone) got asked if he thought he would still have a chance with women, of course he said yes. When he was done bragging he got asked at what age he would draw the line for consent he answered '13, I think 12 is too young'. The video is still on YT, but this specific segment has been cut. I believe my ears. He said it.
I also believe the women who accuse Trump and Epstein of having been raped by both men, multiple times.
I’m so, sorry for what you both went through, also. In 2015 I had a call from my sister who is the second child. She was raped in her foster home. As were the others. She told me , I was going to hell for my own, my beliefs, in not listening to her. We spoke over three hours. Our mother who gave birth to us told her to get over her, hurt, where as my own mother had been raped at age 5 , by a family member. She was brutalized by my family member. My grandmother had told me a few years before she passed. She was humiliated, by not standing up for her oldest daughter. As I am the oldest mother, I wrote her a letter during Covid pandemic telling her, that, I loved her and we needed to speak and share our feelings. She never responded to that letter. We have not spoken in thirty years. I was raised by a woman of grace and dignity that taught me and the other children, to be understanding and compassionate. Forgive. Own up to when you’re wrong. Help others. I feel very humbled by those Epstein victims who have grace and dignity to stand upright, and using their voices in a positive manner. Miss Michaels you did a very good job when interviewed by Kate Collins on CNN. I agree with you it’s horrible that , Miss Maxwell gets a cushy life in prison. I hope and pray that my mother and sister and brothers get help and healing can happen. I believe in that very much. When my father passed I decided to have therapy. I spoke with my counselor a lot about my father and my mother and her problems and of course my siblings problems. Thank you Substack for helping me to find my voice especially, Mr. Jones on anchor watch, because I and Lalisa, I spoke with my GOP Senators office and received my medication back. The very idea that there were so many young girls around Trump and he was nothing more than an interested observer is preposterous. He cares about no one but himself. Greenland, ICE, The Kennedy Center, Iraq are all an epically stupid coward’s desperate attempts to change the narrative. Donny’s panicking because it isn’t working. He was on the front lines of it all and the world knows it. Give it time. It’s all unraveling.
I was musing today about just how un Christ-like many self-proclaimed Christians are. I fantasized about asking people about how the presence of the Lord in their hearts has changed their lives and remade them as new, born again people, and then gently moving on to the teachings of Jesus and how as Christians we all aspire to emulate those teachings as a reflection of the grace we have received. Kind of like motivational interviewing with alcoholics and addicts is what I had in mind. A slow exposure of the hypocrisy/cognitive dissonance without shaming. In my fantasy, eyes and hearts were opened as Jesus came to dwell more deeply in their hearts and minds. I know, I know, not very realistic. But still, true grace is a very powerful thing and something not to be underestimated.
