In Money and Liberty James Turk(bit.ly/3FpXDEz) makes the Constitutional argument that the US should return to a bimetallic standard that is expressly stated in Article 1 Sections 8 and 10 and further supported by the Mint Act(aka Coinage Act) of 1792 The days of the fiat dollar are numbered with the largest debt/credit bubble in global history about to burst
The case can be made for a return to this Constitutionally established norm of which Nixon took the country off in 1971 The end result was run away profligate government spending and a credit/debt mountain
If there is not a reestablished bimetallic standard the domestic and global markets are in for catastrophic consequences Japan's economy with its current 260% debt to GDP ratio is about to fail and China has insulated itself with record gold and silver reserve accumulation since the 1980's
Democrats just need to talk to everyone saying we stand for affordable healthcare for everyone, affordable housing, saving the planet, living wages and counter those measures highlighting how Republicans continue to vote against all of these things that we stand for
So, keep doing what they've been doing, just louder? Meanwhile, the GOP manipulates people into believing the that the suffering the GOP causes is the fault of the "other" people who get too much or are just inherently evil. Promising all those "commonsense solutions" to improve people's lives hasn't worked. It won't work.
The voters have a taste for some really nasty rat fucking. Either you give it to them or you will lose elections.
Thank you Joe and LSM
Are Democrats proposing $20 million for study of young men? That is insanity
Those studies have been done ad nauseum already, they only need a thorough literature review.
Better yet, they could send me the $20M and I could give them the answer to what young men want. In rank order:
1. Get laid.
2. Six-figure job.
3. Feel like they're superior to somebody else.
4. Action movies with lots of tits and 'splody things.
...why are we having this conversation again?
I get it Joe. Democrats did not listen to the bros. But the bros were not listening to anything
Which dem political operative gave Joe the best inspiration and encouragement in his early days working on campaigns?
