His push to disengage FEMA from Homeland security for better management of the funds and better focus is a great deal more intelligent and efficient than photo opt Kristi Noem and chainsaws Musk elimination plan. It will bankrupt the states.
Finally, also agreed with his comments regarding the Dem Party. Right now, we have to win the House in 2026 so we can get legislation through and it has to strategic. Right now, it feels like we are all over the place on a spectrum of progressive vs centralist, young vs old….. There will be a time for those discussions, but I believe now is not the time.
We have to stay intensively focused on winning the primaries. And the message has to be clear and simple on 3 to 4 pillars, not 50 pages. Thank you both and look forward to hearing more from the Senator and Stuart in the future.
