Hegseth should lose his job - and the two high-level people he fired should be reinstated.

Worst is yet to come. Donald "The Beast" Trump is building a wall once again. Colossal tariff wall that is the beginning of the end for the system of down. At first the beast will pull the plug out of the global economy. The worst financial crisis of human history will pull a swarm of the banks underwater and the bank run begins. Then the beast will collapse a mountain of debt shattering the backbone of the monetary system causing a systemic risk to realize. Finally the beast will cast American citizens into a system slavery under the name of Ronald Wilson Reagan, just to "honor his legacy" count the number. After the destruction a new world order will be established in the US. And the Golden Age begins from the ruins of the world wide collapse. All of the system slaves will love it. No more cash - just digital transactions. No more traditional criminal activity. No more tax evasion. No more transactions without the "all seeing eye". Outcasts will hate the world without freedom, hope and privacy. To cover up the mess and distract the public by smoke and mirrors, the beast will engage in a war with Iran. Lies and deceit, corruption and decay, dancing on the graves will continue. Until; Black hole sun, won't you come, won't you come... I want to play a game. Time has come to opt out of the empire of filth. Live or die...

Guys, thank you for your candidness. My thought about "central-casting troops" is Trump wants an Aryan military to command.

Nazis and Power Grabbing: Arming the MIilitia

Hitler rose to power due to the hyperinflationary period of post WW1 He was the people's choice to lead Germany to nirvana and out of the economic catastrophe that they were in

The Orange Cheeto and his Gestapo lied to the American electorate to garner power and now it's a power down(putting power into the hands of WE the people) using Marc Dunkelman's phraseology much like Hitler did And the analogy holds that part of Cheeto's promise was to deal with inflation

And one could argue that both Cheeto wants to use the power to ascend the uberwealthy and influential and make the subservient middle class powerless ie get rid of power up movements(giving power to elected officials)

There is only one way out according to Dunkelman's model and that's exactly what's happening as did in the late 1700's in France The people took to the streets protesting against the monarchy who lost their heads literally

This is why the most recent Cheeto Executive Order to begin the process of martial law by arming local law enforcement with military weapons is a step toward trying to quell the street protests happening across the country much like what Hitler did with the Gestapo creating a police state

Nonviolent protests worked for India's independence in the 1940's and for the civil rights movements in the 1960's

It will work again now

God, how we hated parades. Nobody who actually has to march in them enjoys them. It's a whole series of "hurry up and wait."

There's absolutely no question, if I had violated security protocol in a fraction of the way Hegseth did, I would have received a general courts-martial and a dishonorable discharge. How can anyone expect folks beneath the leader to obey the rules governing classified information if the leader doesn't adhere to them?

in the six years I served in the infantry, I never had a clue about anyone's political affiliation, or even their political views. It just didn't come up.

Thank you to ALL US Military members and veterans. 99% of Americans do not put on that uniform, therefore, the utmost RESPECT must be given to the 1%. Our current commander-in-chief and Sec Def are incompetent; they are dangers to our military members, our democracy, and America’s national security. Thank you for speaking up and out, sharing your knowledge and experience with America and the world.

Is anyone explaining to the active duty service members that they are obligated NOT to obey an unlawful order? It’s just a matter of time until they’re given one, and I’ve always heard that “He who controls the military, controls the country.” I’m sure the SecDef isn’t telling them that (I’m not sure he knows the difference himself.)

I suspect they already have participated in defying a court order. Their was an El Salvador deportation flight transferred to DOD from DHS. Court argument is DHS didn't do the deportation which is laughable.

Good point! I forgot that was DoD personnel who were involved in that flight, and it sounds as their argument is going to get laughed out of court. This regime doesn’t understand the concept of “acting as an agent for” - or, more likely, is testing the limits (like a small child).
