Regarding the “no girls allowed” comment in Professor Moynihan’s piece: Check the photo again. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is pictured sitting directly across the table from President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden. Plus a woman I can’t identify is standing inside the door at the back of the photo, obviously watching the mission that killed Osama bin Laden.

Thank you, for the article, so they use remotes to click there way through governing. 😂! They don’t even know how to use them anymore. Especially since they’re so much older than us.

It's all stage craft to stroke the ego of a developmentally arrested psychopath. It's all sound bites and staged pictures, hoping to come across as serious leaders. This administration is so corrupt and morally bankrupt that they actually believe their own BS, to the detriment of our country and the world. I have to believe that there will be a day of reckoning coming sooner rather than later for every single one of these buffoons.

I hope you have read The Burnout Society by Byung-Chul Han. He ppredicted this sort of, what he calls. the "digital panopticon". This is a form of self-regulation designed to keep us all in line and captured (and supervised) within a digital prison.

As we left the guidance and control of institutions such as the church, schools, NGOs, and the like, we have opted instead to control ourselves by abandoning our reflection and critical thinking. This is done by making ourselves into a project, a tabulation of clicks. Once you have a taste of what that heroin does, it's tough to go back. Thanks for bringing this esoteric notion into the light of understanding!

Cheeto’s Morality Governs America And World

In a disgusting display of arrogance and lawlessness Cheeto declared that the only thing now that can stop him is his own morality!!( https://bit.ly/4r5RS15)

Let that sink in for a moment This demented depraved malignant narcissist just said the quiet dictator speak out loud No laws constrain him or his regime No domestic or international norms can check his decision making No advisors or country’s opinions will make any difference as to what he will do

Yes How he views the world and his own immoral depravity will decide how he will proceed

This is the culmination of years of a psychotic mind’s development that is now so demented that it leverages the free domestic and world order Time to protest like never before and call your Congress people to obstruct him in every way possible It may not take a midterm election to get him impeached

There is a lot of talk about banning social media use by children because of the damage it does to the developing brain. Perhaps we should be talking about banning social media use by government officials because of the damage it does to the MAGA brain, already known to be deteriorating and rotten to the core.

I have abandoned the drug addled, USAID killer, musk's x trash and feel much better knowing I am not part of that cretin earning more money for his disgusting pursuits. Wastebook I use to check in with family, but avoid everything else on that 'make people stupid' platform. SikTok is a place I refuse to go. Is there some great content? Yes, but you have to dig through so much trash to find the treasure. I likely spend too much time on Substack of late but since corporate media is a cesspool of false equivalence and both sides nonsense, it seems like one of the few spaces that offers quality content without sleazy corporate overlords demanding fealty to trump. Hopefully the mindless clickbait psychologically damaging fever breaks before democracy falls to its destructive tendencies. . Then there is the cultist aspect of these social media toxic waste landfills...

I hope once we get thru this, the dumbest period in American history, we can slap some regulations on some of that trash. We've all come to need social media in small ways, but what we have currently is just a cesspool.

Poster Brain: Something has really gone astray. For some reason as I looked at the photo of the knitted blue "thing" I thought of the vengeful fictional character Madam Lafarge who set knitting by the guillotine as the heads of her enemies were chopped off. Can't remember for sure, but I think she knitted the names of those who should meet such a fake into her handiwork. Go figure that this came to mind. Hmm, human nature, even fictional ones haven't changed much over decades. Interesting take Don. Take care.

An especially nice touch was the waiter peeking in to offer a diet coke. That just screams that they are serious people doing war and stuff.
