Truly excellent, thank you.

And notice in Roberts’ opinion for the “majority,” in recounting the procedural history of the tariffs decision he omits entirely the Supreme Court’s role in prolonging the agony and permitting the months and months of the administration picking the collective pockets of the country. So perhaps now we have a new kind of law: under John Roberts the Supreme Court will allow only X months of plainly unconstitutional conduct.

Thank you, Edwin. This needed to be said. John Robert's court has made hash of the law and the Constitution. This is not a Twilight Zone episode. It is real and it is ugly. Shame on you John Roberts.

And the despicable citizens united decision

I would argue that the way Roberts “handled” Jack Smith’s J6 case back in 2023-2024 and the subsequent “official duties” ruling will go down in history as possibly the worst ever to come out of this court. And that’s saying something up up against Dred Scott and Plessy.

What happens to SCOTUS when the law is whatever trump says it is? It seems they will render themselves useless.
