I appreciate your commentary. The only winners in this are the bloviated insurance companies and their wizard actuaries. The poor die from lack of insurance/care and those who can (barely) afford to pay for health insurance die of a new onset poverty as a result of paying for insurance/healthcare. Hospitals, medical practices and communities fail because of this outrageous privatization of healthcare. Congress goes home every night knowing they have an income for life and cadillac health insurance. Shame, shame, shame on them. The orange mussolini will get them eventually. Famous surgeons get reimbursed at fantastical rates yet the lowly pediatrician and family doctor almost need to take on a second job. Those practitioners spend more time on the phone with insurance assholes fighting for patient health concerns than they spend with the f*ing patient. Again, the only winners are the insurance company ripoffs and their bloated CEO incomes. And don’t get me started, United Healthcare is the worst. I’m a physician and I have great pity but little mercy for the murdered CEO or the murderer. Heinous company and BCBS might be number two - “we try harder”. Just sayin’…”And that’s the way it is”.
