The implicit function of a democratic government is to serve its constituents not control them Democratic governments cannot and should not operate as a corporation or business because by definition these entities perform to make a profit A democratic government is composed of constituents who help one another not profit off one another and takes on the very projects that corporations/businesses would not take on because for them there’s no profit in doing so
So the GOP/Nazi approach that they sold to the American electorate is that they would run the government like a corporation/business And the people bought it So the Nazi/GOP did exactly what the electorate wanted Take profits from the American taxpayer and make deals for the benefit of the aristocracy/MAGA leaders
Why is the electorate aghast at what Cheeto is doing? Because there is a distinct disconnect from what the taxpayer sees the government doing for them and what the aristocracy has deemed a mandate to run the government as a business and make profits at the expense of the American taxpayer meanwhile protecting the extreme wealth gap in the country The electorate has seen the light and disillusionment has set in on this MAGA/aristocracy model of governing Vote these Nazis out of office and tax the hell out of the aristocrats If they want to leave the country that’s just fine with us WE the People don’t want them French Revolution 2.0 American style
Citizens United and the Presidential immunity decision were the two Supreme Court decisions which most threaten the existence of our democracy. They must be reversed.
