Here's my nightmare scenario for the Kennedy Center. Twump announces construction of a new Twump (minus the Kennedy) Center, awards contracts (taking his cut, of course), and demolishes the Kennedy Center, leaving a permanent construction site.
Over and over and over again I say the over reach of this administration is through the roof! Why put "HIS" name on everything? It will be taken down once he leaves and the latest is Dulles Airport and Penn Station. People should take a stand against this crap as well. Tearing down the Kennedy Center is an abomination (it was bad enough that he stuck his name on before JFK on the title of the building. So very wrong on so many levels! I don't care if it's "HIM" or any directly beneath him, they have way too much power that needs to be reined in. With regards to "HIS" name they can always take his name off the buildings, they did it in NYC.

Why bother running on policy when you can just assure yourself that the Nazis will not have to worry about election losses? Should've told ya something that no worthwhile talent would perform for RepublicSCAMS even 30 years ago. Reagan using Born in the USA in his campaign was a great example of how out of touch they were with average Americans. It was far from a Pro America song.
The DEMS MOST DEFINITELY NEED to be taking this time to define their 21st Century policy platform for when/if they ever regain some degree of control over the government. While it’s absolutely critical that they ardently oppose the outright illegal, cruel and oppressive actions of the current Trump MAGA administration, the DEMS need to clearly say how they would return the country to civility, stability and general prosperity.
My five essential elements of the platform:
- Sacrosanct support of a modern law & order framework that treats all Americans equally for the first time in our history. I.e. absolute commitment to “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness” for All!
- The establishment of an employment framework for our 21st Century high tech economy that provides compensation sufficient at a minimum to cover food, clothing, housing, education and medical expenses, and savings for reasonable R&R and retirement needs. I.e. restore the country’s respect for labor!
- A National medical insurance coverage program that ensures ease of access to 21st Century medical services for all of ‘We the People’. I.e. just as all other highly-developed democratic, capitalist countries have done!
- A much needed reformed U.S. immigration program that both addresses the deplorable results of the extreme flaws of what has been in place for many decades now, and meets the country’s immigration ideals since inception and its needs in this 21st Century. I.e. live up to the Statute of Liberty!
- A foreign policy framework that acknowledges with respect the importance of maintaining and strengthening our alliances with other democratic, capitalist nations, including a 21st Century trade policy that advances our and their interests and reinforces democratic political and economic institutions, all in pursuit of global peace, stability and prosperity. I.e. what the USA’s greatest generations gave their lives for!
This will take new leadership of the Democratic Party! They need to find their 21st Century FDR and back her/him to the hilt!
And, IMH and ardently held O, small steps toward change that seek to placate well-to-do political donors will not work.

A significant part of this Administration's strategy is to overwhelm the population with so much bullshit (i.e. flood the zone) that we all feel helpless and give up. We all know how that ends. Badly. To follow is a way for each of us to take a meaningful, immediate action to start changing the direction of the US.
