Journalists. OK, I've heard about them. Mythical creatures. Living in the same woods as the true elected conservative lawmaker. We live in a times of talking heads, some of which are knowledgeable and many aren't; or are caught up in their own vanity. But show me many who actually do their own footwork, and research, and are willing to, or allowed to, take weeks to develop a story that may appear to be a nothing burger but has real meat to it (Watergate).

Most "TeeVee" journalists follow the lead of the non-journalist managers and owners of their outlet, for the sake of survival. That most famous of Sunday morning programs showed that when for years you could rely on them inviting Sen. Graham on board nearly every Sunday to give his ignorant opinions, which they fawned over.

I haven't watched the original three networks news in years. Perhaps dating back to Barbara Walters. The novelty liberal news channel lost me for most part when the original purge of 'talent' around 2011. I can occasionally glean some good stuff from Lawrence O'D; but Nicole Wallace's Deadline Whitehouse, and her crew of regular guests, gives me better insight, and I can only handle a short period of her show.

How do I stay informed? I read. I research. I look at primary sources, and I don't take the word of most politicians of any side.

It's like polls. I don't trust them; and am skeptical about them. Why? Have you ever taken one? The questions are almost always leading and biased. Also, I hate intrusions into my life via the phone, so if it's an unknown number, I don't answer it. People who need to talk to me leave messages. Do I think I'm unusual? No. So for a certain group, or groups, our inputs aren't there because of the methodology in the collection and analysis. Of course, I may be skeptical of them because I don't want to believe that so many Americans are so effing stupid.

Dems play patty cake and repubs play Godzilla. It's embarrassing at best. The only organization that can stop the tyranny of the minority, and the only political party that actually helps workers can't sell a $20 for $5 with their clueless, clownish, meek, weak, and squeamish messaging. Dems don't want to offend anyone and by doing so they offend everyone.

I have been saying that dems and those who are not maga morons should never utter the words Big B Bill ever. The Baby Killer Bill, the The Kill the Children Bill, the Slash Heathcare Act, The Murder Medicare and Medicaid Act, The trump Billionaire's Bill, The Early Grave Bill, the trump Kill Bill, The trump graveyard bill, anything but the Big B Bill.

But then that would take dems thinking about what they are doing. They continue to bring casseroles to the knife fight and then argue about what kind of casserole tastes better.
