Thankfully, Coors sucks. This is an easy boycott.

Stop Buying Apple Products And Stop Watching CNN: Resist Apathy

IceBlock is a skyrocketing popular app in the Apple Store and Tim Apple as Cheeto likes to call him(aka Tim Cook) has surrendered to Pam Bondi at DOJ and taken the app out of public reach Google has a similar app

This is now another corporate capitulation much like Disney/Hulu did with Jimmy Kimmel But Disney faced such consumer backlash that it couldn’t continue with its Kimmel cancellation and put him back on the air And after consumer backlash to some stations that could not carry the Kimmel show, the owner of those stations the right wing Sinclair/Nexstar

Wishy washy CNN then decided to do a Breaking News bullshit text questioning of Cheeto with softball questions It’s time for us as American consumers to begin showing our outrage about these companies that are capitulating to this Nazi regime Boycott all of these companies As our experience with Disney shows that economically boycotting Apple, Google, and CNN will bear fruit

I’m an Independent and probably identify more with the D’s. However, they frustrate me. Instead of hitting the R’s where it hurts, me the common person they talk about lofty objectives. People want food on the table, clothes for their children and knowing they can fend for themselves and their children. I’d be yelling from the rooftops, have town hall meeting. Get the gawddam word out there. Make the R’s the villains.

To borrow a line from Network, throw open your windows and yell, I’m not going to take it anymore.

I’m won’t give them a dime until the D’s wise up and smell the coffee.

"1st & 10: Trump’s Shutdown Shitposting" - Another example of how the Republicans are owning the Democrats on MESSAGING. The concept of stupidity of doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome is the epitome of the Democrats. They do NOTHING with respect to MESSAGING, and they expect that they will win seats.

Where the fuck is this message from the Democrats?

“Trump is hurting you. You can’t afford your groceries, your rent, your medicine — because billionaires and the Trump regime are playing games with your government and shipping your tax dollars overseas.”

That single message will win seats.

Please stop calling the party on the right "Republicans" and "conservatives". They are neither. They are "Populist Fascists". If you call them Republicans or conservatives, then you are entertaining and promoting Trump's Second Big Lie. You might remind also Americans that Benito Mussolini and Adolph Hitler were Populist Fascists. Thank you.

BOYCOTT APPLE!

For heaven's sake, what more does that corporation have to do: big cash and golden apples to Trump; taking down an excellent ICE-tracking app because the Gestapo didn't like it...

Crisper photographs? How does that stack up against enriching fascists?

It's time to stop mainlining "technology"-- it is devouring our democracy.

As usual, you've nailed a lot of what's really important, here. I've been watching the Ed Gein story with horrified fascination--and the story really does come with several warnings about the darker sides of our culture. First of all, pornography, by which I especially mean anything that brutalizes other humans in sexualized ways, social isolation (the root of so much online recruiting) and perhaps above all the cruel repression and ugly judgments of extreme Evalgelical views. I've never seen these things rolled into such a menacing array before. Not easy, but necessary for our understanding as we face down a national menace which uses all of the above elements of batsh*t crazy to manipulate the vulnerable among us.

Coors is terrible beer anyhow. I can pledge to continue my 30 year-long boycott.

Thank you Evan. My Canadian friend and I will return to demonstrate again on October 18. We had to miss the last demonstration because we both have health issues but we will be out there again on no Dictators Day (since we did have Kings here in Hawaii, we don’t say “No Kings” here).

I’m hoping we will get a decent turnout this time; crowds have been dwindling here. My other old sick lady friend is staying in California to vote for Prop50 in November.

My neighbors can’t be bothered to demonstrate. Too busy doing Lord only knows what- many just trying to survive working 3 jobs and still can barely afford to buy groceries.

We have one really good congressional delegate from Hawaii and I would like to give her a shout out here- Jill Tokuda, come on down!! ✊🏼Thank you for your practice ☸️

The "yellow flags"--perhaps even "red cards" too, should be flying. What a savage week we had. So sorry about Kyren Lacy. Thanks for lifting his story up. It is a reminder that that truth and words matter so people don't get destroyed. And what happened did rob Kyren of his future. Sickening.

The mention of Coors Beer was not surprising. I believe I had heard way-back of that families leaning. It also made me think of Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch. I believe Coors name swirled around him before his confirmation. But I don't think any direct connection was ever made with him and Coors. He sits in black robe all safe and sound.

I learned something: Never heard of the Ed Gein Story; The Butcher of Plainfield. Glad I can't access Netflix. Home grown evil? Oh, yes there is.

Thanks, Evan. Keep writing.

As Bobby Jones noted, dems are failing an open book test... Not all of them, but many are so tied to their pollsters, dononrs, and corporate overlords that they turn the simple into the complex. How about something like, republicans are putting your children at greater risk of harm and death by ending affordable healthcare as they protect pedophiles and consider pardoning child sex traffickers.

Tragic story of a good man being sentenced to death by a system that protects evil as it vilifies the innocent.

Coors is more of a colored water than a honest beer anyways. I never understood the attraction to a flavorless lager. And after reading your piece about Coors supporting authoritarianism and a failing, flailing, mad king president, Coors does have a certain flavor; a flavor of fascism.

"Kyren Lacy didn’t die because he was guilty. He took his own life because this country wouldn’t let him prove he wasn’t."

Kyren Lacy should not (and by law did not) have to prove he wasn't guilty, i.e. that he was innocent. The state had to prove that he guilty. But the system is so broken that neither the enforcers of the law (police, DA's, etc) nor the media "enforcer/exposer of the government's honesty (or not)" decided to go a different way.

Innocent until proven guilty. The American way. Let's try it, it works.

BTW the name of the song is "(Don't Fear) The Reaper."

Kind of reminds me of that song “Hurricane” by Bob Dylan. Sometimes I feel like it’s déjà vu all over again.
