Ha ha? Thanks for the shout out for those of us women who have never been a 'ten' and most of the time never wanted to be. As a matter of fact, I was rated an 'eight' by a group of my male peers when younger, so not so far off the mark. And I was always, and more interestingly, nominated for "most talented" in my HS class yearbook. (They didn't have a category for most politically activist and irritating to the admin, but they should have.) As I write, I am approaching my 77th birthday, and can testify that what lasts is not 'looks,' it's character. And also, the panting, sweaty, more or less honeymoon stage of sexual limerence only lasts for @ two years, according to most surveys. So, if you plan to raise kids, not nearly enough to be given the weight it currently commands. My advice: don't get married until that period begins to cool and you can see straight. And, yeah, that goes for women, too. The man I was most besotted with back in the day was a lot of things, most prominently an a-hole, it turned out. So, guys, my husband still loves and appreciates me after decades of marriage, and if you're looking at effability rankings, mine have rapidly descended toward the vanishing point. But my husband loves and still sorta adores me, for those 'character' thingies, like how I've helped with the finances, stood with him through several of his medical crises, of course supported and loved all three of our kids and now grandkids, listened to and respected, if not always agreed with his opinions, and given him the benefit of my semi-excellent opinions as a form of largesse. I am proud to say I have ushered him into progressive ideas and a greater appreciation for diversity, in all its (honestly) enriching aspects. Ahem.

Always interesting, Evan. At present I don't need to throw down a yellow flag, at least not on your reporting. Those guys rating women could be yellow flagged. Duh! They should keep that talk in the locker room. Seems so childish. Young men do need better examples. Well, so do we all in some form or other. And yes, I do look forward to all the Lincoln Square Media articles. Susan and all are doing a fine job. Thanks again, Evan. Take care.
