It would be great if she were made Secretary of Education!!! Of course, with a President that is intelligent and wants all children to be educated and not "formed" into little robot in step marchers. Deborah Kenney is a breath of fresh air and a true educator!! Thanks for such a wonderful guest and podcast! You two Joes rock! My father, mother and sister were all educators and I agree with Dr. Kenney that teachers need to be respected more, my parents were definitely not in it for the money, my dad was an attorney and had a true desire to teach and after 3 years of being a successful attorney switched to teaching in 1960 at a 10th of his previous income. He was able to do that because my mother supported his decision. When my sister, the youngest, was 16 my mom then pursued her education too. My little sister became a Montessori teacher and believed in the major benefits of those teachings. Go Dr. Kenney go!!
