Just got finished taking the latest YouGov poll. This should be a good one. It is all about Trump and everything he has been doing. Can’t wait to hear Andrew and Rick dig into this one when it is released. #YouGov #TrumpPoll

Authenticity wins. In every presidential since 1928, the more authentic appearing candidate has won. Imagine that!

Trump doesn’t plan on winning the election fairly. He plans on stealing the election and I think that’s probably what we should be talking about now.

I don’t think us as a nation are taken seriously the extent of the election fraud that Trump will engage in in the upcoming November election. He will not seat the Democratic numbers that will Corta his control.

With regards to the midterms, because "HE" is NOT going to be on the ballot, those who support "HIM" will not go out and vote at all. Especially if they have very high medical insurance bills. He lies all the time and people are picking up on all of the crap that he's been doing. Plus his mind is going as quickly (maybe quicker than Joe Biden). One question about the "OVER REDACTED" isn't it truly a signal of guilt because he was in there a ton of times? I mean they redacted whole pages and many of them.

I am an 82 year old grandma and I’m a NEVER (T)!!! Please say that there are grandmas who love Obama and Biden!! Please don’t call me a ************!

It's very interesting and heartening to see in that FOX poll that 82% of voters are concerned about political divisions in the country. So it's not just Democrats and unaffiliated. It's bothering the right wing too. (18:40)

Cheeto And The Ides Of March

The economic collapse of the dollar as a fiat currency is coming and Alasdair Macleod on his substack channel interview(https://bit.ly/4400ixA) has been writing about the bursting of the largest credit/debt bubble in history He pegs March 2026 if not sooner

Taking all the geopolitical and domestic market factors into account along with the Fed introducing beginning to introduce QE/money printing again and the historical similarities of 1929 and 1919-1923 Reichsmark experience, Macleod thinks there will be an Ides of March American event if not sooner

A word to the wise Get out of equities and save what you have by putting your wealth into gold and silver

Rick, you make me laugh and sometimes cry, but I always learn from you. You and Andrew go deep into the weeds to give an overall picture. I love it.

Here's Trump's tariff problem. If SCOTUS rules against tariffs tomorrow and the Trump regime has to give all of the money back to the importing companies, it's highly unlikely prices will go lower.

Why?

Because much of the business community absorbed the increased tax on imported goods and took a hit on their profits so they could keep market share and to not piss off consumers. These companies also pre-ordered stock before the tariffs hit, but those supplies dwindled and they had to replace it with Trump Tariff Tax items. Also the Trump tariffs wreaked havoc in their accounting departments with the tariff rates going up and down like a yo-yo. What does all this mean?

A significant number of companies will keep prices right where they are to recoup the lost profits and to cover the past costs of dealing with the Trump Tariff Tax.

So Trump and the MAGA Republicans are screwed with or without the tariffs, because the damage is done. Eventually the prices may ease up, but not in the short term.

We also need to add to the calculation that our allies have decided to buy soy beans, citrus fruits, etc., elsewhere. Those allies are wary of trading with the USA. That wariness won’t go away any time soon. Trump has changed the world order to the detriment of the USA.

She wouldn’t be interested in moving to Louisiana, would she? (Or Iowa - my friends there are also frustrated with the inaction of their state party, although longshot Democrats have scored a couple of upsets in the state legislature this year.)

there are many many issues the dems can use against the cowardly useless congress and trump. affordability is a good one right now. That can easily change in the next year as trump will continue to put band aids on everything. dont get caught with just one basket of eggs that can be broken. The fact that congress did nothing all year and ran away from health insurance, the fact the health administration is going to make America sick again, the fact trump is too old, he caters to putin over Ukraine... the list goes on. keep freaking piling on. its what they do and it got this looney criminal back in office. Go hard on everything until the disease is eradicated...

I’m 68 and progressive - so a bit of an anomaly for my age group. In addition to the attrition you’d expect in our age group, COVID hit extra hard among MAGA voters because they rejected science, and older people were particularly susceptible. So old “red” folks are literally a dying breed, it seems.
