No more cash - just digital transactions. No more traditional criminal activity. No more tax evasion. No more transactions without the "all seeing eye". Outcasts will hate the world without freedom, hope and privacy. To cover up the mess and distract the public by smoke and mirrors, the beast will engage in a war with Iran. From what I’ve seen so far, there are millions of people who are going on with life as usual, pretending this is just another presidency. It is difficult to sound alarms when you feel you’ll be dismissed as histrionic. But we need to keep finding calm clear-eyed ways to do this.
Exactly! My moderate friends think I’m obsessed with politics and they just go on like all is business as usual. The family MAGAs think all is wonderful and I’m the brainwashed one. We can only control our own viewpoint and continue to fight, ironically, for everyone’s future.
All of what you write is accurate Trygve. A frustration I and other ordinary citizens have is, how exactly DO we fight back? Calling reps, text & phone banking, giving $ where we can, going to protests, other volunteer actions – all good, I do them, but still don't have any idea if is makes a bit of difference. What we are up against – right wing media system, persistent attacks on voting rights, billionaire funding, all the corruption & cowardice at the top tiers – if you want to give us hope, we need as much brass tacks specifics – of what we can actually do – as possible.

Sobering words. I do know the game were in, and it saddens me that we are in such a state. One thing about offense in any sport or game, don't stand still like a potted palm. Keep your feet moving all the time so you are ready to move quickly. Realize that teamwork is needed. Hog ball never works. Though this game saddens me and actually it is scary, I in my own small way am on the offense. No star here, but on offense. Thanks, Trygve for pointing out continually how we must play this game.
