Although I am not technically aware of things. I did come across Perpetual Drumbeats by Homan Morar. AI produced. Very deceptive with " positive " comments about Pete Buttigieg that were definitely not true. The scary thing is that they were positive posts about Pete's donating millions to Library and Hospitals. With a phony statue of Pete and his superimposed picture of at least 6 yrs ago. Please do not get involved with this website. Has been verified as being bogus

Trading Places Movie Perfect Depiction Of Cheeto’s GOP/Nazi World

It’s difficult at times to understand the arrogant world of the billionaire and wanna be power brokers of the Nazi/GOP today But the party was in control of the government when Reagan occupied the White House and it was during this time that the 1983 Eddie Murphy’s first movie at age 22 Trading Partners was released….an encapsulation of the Great Gatsby with a twist

It was less salient at the time because it takes time to understand a party’s leadership In retrospect Reagan was a Cheeto in disguise All the trappings were there Reagan’s scandalous Iran-Contra affair was one of many(rigged grants at HUD, corrupt defense contractor WedTech scandal) but Cheeto has won the scandal department hands down

Even though Reagan peddled the fictitious “welfare queen”, in the elapsed 40y since, the Nazi GOP has gone full tilt on attacking the social safety net that many Americans have come to rely on due to ravages on the purchasing power of the dollar brought on by another dirtbag Nazi GOP’er Nixon taking the country off the gold standard

What Nixon, Reagan, and now Cheeto have accomplished is the biggest wealth gap in American history and more billionaires who are an arrogant group of slimebags that is graphically depicted in Murphy’s Trading Places It’s a must see now 40y later because it dramatizes the moral depravity and maliciousness of people craven to money and power

Thank you for reminding us that the take over of a country, the destruction of democracy, the degradation of civil norms and standards did not just “suddenly happen”; that these processes have been lurking, sometimes relatively latent, sometimes showing themselves in camouflage; patiently mutating and evolving like a virulent pathogen until the social and cultural and political climate were primed for its full eruption. We are now battling a country-wide pandemic of a different sort that may cost us our lives as a nation.

The natural consequence of this may be a forced look and deep-dive as a culture into our adulation of the hyper-wealthy; to image over substance; to the comfort of abundance and the easy way out; to our willful ignorance (choosing to ignore) the suffering of others; our hubris and greed.

This is the true meaning of Karma.

Well said And it's up to the D's to decide whether to be aggressive and tackle this cultural dis-ease head on or to mollify lobbyists and the uberwealthy Even countries can take on difficult karma but it takes all of us

Most citizens pay no attention to implications of AI. For 20 yrs the gov’t hasn’t been willing to put modest controls on social media. Lobbyists own politicians on both sides. We consumers will lose.

Elect progressive candidates and we can break up these monsters. We can do it, unless we give up in advance.

Robert Reich lays out today the path for states to ban corporate money/ dark money from elections. This is something that a handful of people in each state can do-- corporate money makes the vast majority of Americans angry.
