And we can encourage those clever defectors to rebrand as #ConstitutionalConservatives. That way they can announce their defiance in terms that their base can relate to and differentiate themselves from the toxic swamp monsters still clinging to Trump's slimy coattails.
They can stand with Dems as #PolarOppositePatriots because their patriotism is stronger than our political differences.

I think people underestimate the destructive nature of texting. Text lacks the nuance of inflection and facial expression. Sarcasm, facetiousness and anger are easily confused in text. Also, text does not allow the instant feedback of reaction that can stop you before you dig yourself into a hole of insult too deep to escape. There's much more to communication than just letters and words. I blame the rising use of texting for the increasing divisions.
