Are we really better than that? Does his base really care about trump and Epstein? I don't know anymore, but I don't think it will bring trump down until the Heritage Foundation and the tech bros want him replaced with Vance. Democracy is all but dead in Texas and teetering in the rest of the country. All I am certain about is we must fight with all our might and never surrender as long as we have a pulse.

Interference of 2026 Midterms: Cheeto’s Use of the DOJ to Subvert the Election

MSM(mainstream media) has got to get more involved at reporting what Cheeto’s DOJ is doing and will continue to do to subvert the upcoming 2026 elections There have been a number of actions taken by the Nazi regime and specifically the DOJ since taking office but the efforts have continued to ramp up with the most recent demands by DOJ for all states to hand over registered voting rolls for their “inspection”

This should be taken in context what happened in 2024 There is reputable evidence albeit circumstantial that the current Nazi regime subverted the election and given their success they are out for more This time using the power of the DOJ and federal resources to “legitimately” go after states’ rights to interfere with the election Not only that but create a Palantir/Peter Thiel data base of registered voters in order to disenfranchise legitimate voters ala vigilante challenges, this time on a greater scale (bit.ly/43K4Gl2)

Like the 2024 election there was a multipronged approach to interference and subversion…not just one thing done but a multiplicity of events that led to the Democratic loss Already we are seeing red state gerrymandering, above DOJ demands, and who knows what’s next Can get a better idea of the breadth with Democracy Docket(https://bit.ly/45c27aM)

The writer is clearly learned on all this. I have no beef but one: we're not at all "better than this". Seeing clearly what he was, we voted Trump into office twice.

The Right is terrified of any critique of America anywhere and at any time. Why all the energy behind this? Because they don't want us to understand that our nation is fundamentally flawed, structurally and socially; the two being complimentary and informing each other.

This "better than this" bullshit is a wish-casting liberal trope to soothe our fear and guilty consciences. We are confronting that reality now, even though we don't want to. We can change, or we can kick the can on down the road to future generations, as it was kicked to us.

I’m really interested in a small part of this.

Where did the trafficked girls come from? Where were their parents of these girls? Are there lots of teenage girls, wandering around Palm Beach, willing to be prostituted? But most of all, what’s happening at Mar a Lago, where 14 year old girls are “towel girls”.

What’s a “towel girl”, in the spa? Were these girls also being trafficked at Mar a Lago? THATS WHAT IM REALLY INTERESTED IN KNOWING.

republicans don't care about the abuse these young girls suffered - they only want a list of democrats that visited the island.

Re the Deputy AG meeting with Maxwell. Not enough people are comparing it to that time Bill Clinton & AG Loretta Lynch visited in her jet. Republicans/Fox News wouldn’t shut up about it.

Thank you for your clear, direct, and stunning listing of ALL the evil this "little man" hiding behind the faux gold curtain has been engaged with over YEARS! Who knows? Maybe some in his "cabinet of criminals and creeps" are on some of these lists. I hope all readers will share your essay widely through all means avaliable.

Follow the money. There is no accountability ever. Prove the world wrong. 77 million American's followed Trump into the sewer and dragged the world with it.

This is an unraveling sordid tale. It is hard to believe that there are those that think Trump embodies America. That they think this does make one pause and reflect. Yes, we are better than this, but/and we need to demonstrate that we are. Good article Edwin. Thanks. Take care.

Here's hoping you're right, Mr. Eisendrath. But one disturbing factor is the resonance between the American public's seeming inability to hold a thought over time, and Trump's lack of focus, loose associations and scattergram memory, deliberate lies and the confabulations of dementia. So, this wave of outrage may have risen to remarkable heights, but once it reaches shore, will it then become another nothingburger? Time will tell.
